DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

First is to let us know about Diversity and Inclusion and its importance to us.

When it comes to diversity It means understanding that every individual is unique in their own way, and recognizing our individual differences. These differences can be along the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies.

And when it comes to inclusion it means ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute to and influence every part and level of a workplace, society , beliefs, attributes, and is ensuring that everyone feels safe and belongs.

So what will be the importance of diversity and inclusion in our workplace or in our company?

Importance of diversity and inclusion in every workplace and companies most especially in the Health and Beauty Industry like in makeups are concerned. In the past, most beauty and makeup companies have almost exclusively prescribed to Western, Euro-centric, and heteronormative beauty standards. Sadly, the beauty industry often neglects the needs of many of its vast and varied consumer base, especially men and consumers with darker skin tones. But today's generation has changed. We offer makeup to all walks of life. 

Since we are in a Health and Beauty industry we value our customers' every individual's differences. We make sure that our products are following every customer's standards. We provide products and services to all of our clients' preferences. And collect feedback in order for us to know what they want and adjust accordingly. Our purpose is to make people look and feel their best, and an important part of this is offering products that meet everyone’s beauty needs.We make sure the products we sell are for all ages, skin colors, and can be worn by all genders that wear makeup. 

Our clients need to feel they are represented and that the brand's values match their pledges. Brands are revamping how they can communicate with their clients. Social media needs to create a 2-way dialogue between clients and brands. By listening to their consumer's brands are able to boost sales ensuring they are providing quality, not just quantity. In the Philippines, skin color is not the only issue we encounter, it’s also their status in life. Are they able to afford to buy our products? That’s why we make sure our products are available and affordable to everyone. As diversity and inclusivity dominate conversations around the globe, brands are reacting, and marketing campaigns are adjusting accordingly.
