MAKE UP FOR EVER

Make Up For Ever was founded in 1984 by make-up artist Dany Sanz with the goal of providing high-quality materials to professional make-up artists working in the fashion and film sectors. In 1999, LVMH purchased the brand as a compliment to its high-end make-up line and to expand its offering to its fashion consumer base. Nicolas Cordier was hired CEO in 2004, and he and Sanz created a manager/creator team.

Make Up For Ever products are available in Sephora and Make Up For Ever boutiques around the world, with flagship locations in Paris, New York, Montreal, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and other locations. Since its founding in 2002 in Paris, Make Up for Ever has expanded to include academies in New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Brussels, Helsinki, and Nice.

Make Up For Ever's founder began his career as a painter and sculptor. When Dany Sanz was working on a set for a theater show in Paris in 1984, she had the concept for Make Up For Ever. The director requested her to paint one of the performers' bodies, and when Sanz saw her makeup in motion, she knew she'd found her calling. Sanz's commitment to makeup "for pros, for you, for ever" inspired the company's moniker.
