Easy beginner tutorials for Asian eye makeup

Through the years, the method we do for everything changes and that includes how we do our makeup. Everything you knew back then won't work now. Everything you learned and do sometimes won't be the same anymore. But it's okay because makeup has a learning process and we could always get better if we know the right tips and tricks.

1. Choose the colors
If you are only beginning to learn the art of makeup, you might want to usd lighter shades for a start. Asian eye makeup looks always have neutral, natural, and light colors. So choose a color that matches your eyes, or whatever you desire just make sure to make it light.
If your skin is cooled tone, choose brown colors and tones for your eyeshadow. If it is warm toned, you can also use terracotta or red-brown type of colors.

2. Prime your eyes
Whether you are doing Western or Asian makeup, never miss to put on some eye primer. The products you apply will stay on longer and look much more pigmented if you use eye primer as a base. Don't forget to prep your eyelids!

3. Apply transition shade
Applying a transition shade is a great way to show the world your talent with makeup and it just comes with some some easy steps.
Take your medium transition shade and blend it across the eyelid with a large blending brush. Do this until the color is evenly distributed in your eye.

4. Apply darker color
When it's about your lash line, putting on a darker color will make your eyes more deep. Take a dark colored shadow and apply it with the right precision and a blending brush. Take it slightly upwards, a bit above your lash line. Try doing it with a satin finished eye shade or a shimmery one.
